Plaza 23 Diner in Pompton Plains

Go to this place for breakfast.Have had dinner on occasion there. The wait staff always seems to forget something. Such as when you go to breakfast and they serve muffins and the wait staff says oh I forgot or I didn't think you wanted them.the management doesn't seem to care They have an indifference

The Plaza 23 Diner has never disappointed us. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a quick snack, they have always cooked anything we've ordered with perfection! The service is friendly & prompt; and the prices are reasonable too.

Food is tasty and the staff are wonderful

Excellent food! Great prices. The specials give you so much food for under $20. You get soup, salad bar, your entree and dessert. I never finish my food, there is way too much. I take it home for lunch. 2 meals for under $20, can't beat that. Service is always friendly too. Great place to eat!

I have to say this will always be a second class diner since the Queen is in the same market. The food and service is just okay. I always eat the same thing when I go there because they are limited to variety.

Food was delicious very good service , very clean ,and great atmosphere. I will be stopping their again when in the area. I have been to other diners in area . None compare to this business . Excellent.

The food is good, but I give one star due to the treatment I saw of waitresses multiple times I’ve been here. I usually go for dinner or breakfast with my family on the weekends. Great pancakes, but the managers are always attacking the waitresses and I’ve seen them multiple times yelling in front of everyone. Unprofessional. Not the kind of atmosphere you look forward to when trying to grab a bite to eat.

Do not go there for a steak ! Regular diner for cup of coffee and a pie or a sandwich. VERY CLEAN good service .

Good food decent service

I wasn't planning on eating here but I did....the food was really good . Ate breakfast here with my cousin....my pancakes🥞 were really good...I also had an omelette which also was good. My cousins eggs were cold but overall was good😊

The service is great, the diner is beautiful and clean, large spacious, parking is good .The food is great !

Clean, good service, good food for a fair price. I go to a Diner to relax a bit, get some good food, I do not want the servers policital views shoved down my throat along with the food. It made me feel uneasy.

Super quick service, full all-day diner menu, nice staff, great specials, and friendly people all around. Booths, tables, and a bar stool eating areas. Clean, good parking, easy to find, been going here over 20 years.

Service was great! They greeted us immediately and were very sweet about my husband"s temporary walker. Eggs Benedict was awesome

The food was eh. Stopped here because the Alps and Pompton queen diner was packed.

We were 3 friends that reconnected from high school days. The food here was fantastic. Our waitress was above and beyond for us. I highly recommend Plaza 23. Our only issue was hard to hear each other because of Rt 23 traffic. Well I guess this wonderful place can't control traffic 😂. Seriously though if you want good food then Plaza 23 is the perfect place. If I could give a higher rating I would.

Food is always good and it always comes out fast and hot

Three us went there for late lunch. Two of us got panini one with chicken other vegetarian. They were terrible. Dry, no taste, egg plant was tough. The one with chicken , no taste either. They needed some kind of sauce or marinade. Cole slaw tasted like it came out of a can. French fries were okay. Waitress was good. My sister got roast beef club, she said it was dry. I will try again but for breakfast, but that's it. One more time.

Awful breakfast this morning, nothing had any taste... Watery packet hollandaise cause, how can corned beef hash have NO taste?? Whats happening to our jersey diners...what a shame! the waitress was stoned out of her mind, she was the only smart one

Had broiled scallops they were delicious. My husband had Turkey dinner the best comfort food. If you are ever near the area definatley visit you will be pleasantly surprised.

Went here for dinner. I had the spinach pie with a side order of broccoli bites. Both were very tasty. It came with dessert so I chose what they call a black and white cake, it was too die for !! Although I was full from dinner I managed to eat the whole piece, it was so light and absolutely delicious. I would go back just for that. I've also stopped here to get the Matza Ball soup to take home for this chilly weather, it is also very good.

We go every Sunday. We love the service and the food. Soup, buffet salad, dinner and dessert for around 20 dollars
